had read and felt from the Council Minutes, on top of all the
information from you, that both corroborated and added to the
existing "concern list" and a growing feeling of stress with
regards to how they run the Strata Corporation...
I was sitting with our Agent - trying to
draw up the final details of our offer to clear all subjects based
on them accepting a price adjustment - we realized that the time
and stress of “working with the strata for the next 5 to 10 years,
trying to convince people to be more proactive and deal with
things properly”, just wasn't worth it even if they dropped the
price a bit ! So, in the end, we agreed to walk away...

Thanks for your good work on the home inspection. We made a
counter-offer to factor some of the more immediate repairs, and
needless to say, the other Realtor was not very happy at all. My
Realtor, however, feels that we will end up getting some sort of

Glenn:
I can’t thank you enough!!! Since your visit yesterday, we
contacted the company that Anway bought the Hardi Plank from. We
have since found out that we actually don't have "Hardi Plank",
they actually used a different product. I’m not saying its an
"inferior" product, just we didn't know. The company is supposed
to be sending out a representative tomorrow. Once we hear from
them, we will go from there.
I have already told my girlfriend, who is
doing extensive renovations, about you. I almost think it would be
worth it for people to budget in a few hours of your time through
different stages of reno's and building - just to have someone
protecting their interests. Its obvious many contractors are not
doing that.

Hi Glenn,
You did an inspection for us several months ago and we have since
purchased the unit.
The inspection report you provided showed
many deficiencies many of which we knew about but we are now in
the process of looking for contractors to take care of the
deficiencies…namely:
-Bathroom Remodeling
-General Electrical
I noticed that at the time of the inspection you were hesitant
about ‘recommending’ anyone. I realize that this (at the time) may
have been a conflict of interest for you perhaps, but since we are
now the legal owners of the property maybe this is no longer a
professional roadblock for you.
We would like to have these 2 items taken care of as soon as we
can and would appreciate any referrals you could give us.
I have been to a few of the local supplies places but I do not
feel comfortable about dealing with unknown contractors and might
feel better about your recommendations as far as these contractors
are concerned.
Any referrals you could give would be greatly appreciated.
